Die Versions - Inspiration

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Today is my inspiration for Die Versions and my project is using one of the new Valentine's dies available in the store

I wanted to make a quick Valentine or love themed card that I can place in my daughter's bag during the day, she loves getting these little cards and I know she'll love this one too :)

A Scrapin' Place - Inspiration Post

Happy Tuesday.  I have another Christmas themed card for you today.  As my other one's I like to keep these simple so when you mail them they don't add much bulk.  The tree designer paper was perfect as a background for the reindeer (Memory Box die).  I matted all the papers, cut the reindeer out of the same color of one the card stocks, die cut the merry sentiment (Memory Box Die) and added a bow and some bling

Opal Manor - Inspiration

With the long holiday weekend, I was able to get a lot of coloring done and one of my images was this beauty by Opal Manor.  I love the combination of black & red so I went with that.  The "I love you" frame around her was cut with my brand new Cameo (early Christmas gift from hubby).

Sweet Pea Stamps - Summer Rose

Quick post today to share this card I made for the Little Miss Muffet summer challenge that is currently going on.  With the flowers, butterflies and the girl being a mermaid, I think this card makes a perfect summer creation :)  I just love this image from Sweet Pea Stamps

Inspiration for Marina Neira

I was speaking with Marina the other day about her digital images and how I missed TSB.  Marina was generous enough to send this cutie patootie over for me to create an inspiration sample for her Etsy shop.  So please meet "Marvin with Candy"....I think he was meant to be holding a piece of Halloween candy but I thought it would be cute to make it into a Christmas card.

Inky Impressions - Happy Thanksgiving

This year I am very thankful for a lot of things, some of which are

~ I am thankful for my husband.  He is my rock and although we have gone through some bad things he keeps me grounded and I couldn't imagine life without him

~ I am thankful for my beautiful daughter.  She completes me in ways I never imagined a child could.  There isn't a day that goes by where she doesn't make me smile & laugh

~ I am thankful for all of my friends I have found throughout the crafting community both in real life and online.  There are way too many of you to thank but you all hold a special part in my heart

So for today's post I didn't create a card however I wanted to focus on just the image alone as it is fantastic and is perfect for saying so much without having the added frills that are added when making a card, so I made this matted picture that will be sitting out on our table for Thanksgiving.

A Scrapin' Place - Inspiration post

I am loving the holiday papers that "A Scrapin' Place" carries and this one is so versatile to use.  I just matted it with cream and red paper, added the red ribbon and cut out "Merry" using the die from Memory Box

Inky Impressions - Inspiration post

When I sat down to make my card this week, I started coloring my image in and then decided I wanted to do something different.  I wanted to use something from Inky that usually gets "lost" in our projects.....the Charms! Inky offers so many different charms in the store, most of which coordinates with the images.

So I pulled out my bag (yes I have about a snack baggie of them) and picked out two of them (hard choice).  Now I am heading somewhere with this :)  When I'm not crafting, you can usually find my nose stuck in a book or glued to my kindle; so it's only fitting that I make a bookmark as I always need one :)

so I have added the two charms to the top on jump rings using one of the clasps that are for necklaces/bracelets.  Added four black beads onto a stick pin and attached it to the other end of the ribbon.  Instant bookmark and so easy :)  It would make a great gift for your favorite reader :)
