Gold for the Gold/Olympic Theme Challenge

Today starts a new challenge for Bugaboo Stamps and for this challenge all you need to do is
create a card, tag, layout or item that could be used for Encouragement or an loosely based Olympic Theme using rings or circles.

How do you join our challenge follow the guidelines listed above and create a post on your blog/website with a link to our blog, be a follower (if you are not already), and of course sign the “Mister Linky”, so that we can stop by and leave you lots of love.

You may enter any of our challenges as many times as you like, as long as the challenge piece is different. Of course, the more you enter, the more times you are entered into our drawings. We always love to see when Bugaboo. stamps are used in our challenges, so if you use one of our stamps, you’ll automatically be entered into the drawing twice!! Is that not cool?

Winners will be chosen with 1st place will get 7 stamps of choice 2nd place will get 4 stamps of choice 3rd place will get 2 stamps of choice

Our challenge runs February 13 – February 20 7 am EST. We will make the announcement of our winners on February 20th.

I created my card using BC Fence from Bugaboo Stamps and the paper/sentiment is from CTMH. This card was also designed using this week's sketch from the Diedrich Dare blog, Jess' children create weekly sketches and they do a FABULOUS job! This week, her 4 year old daughter Ava created her very first sketch---way to go Ava!!!

Another Valentine's Day card

A friend at work asked me on Monday if I would make him a Valentine's Day card. Now this guy is "different" but not in a bad way :) Before I left work that day, he had picked out the design (so to speak) of the card and the sentiment. Now I have never created a card with a picture on it and was kind of hesitant about it because it's just a picture of him with a fish (the recipient is very much a "city" girl). Knowing the girl that was receiving it, I tried to make the card as girlie as could with a picture of a fish on the front.

The sentiment reads "You will always be..... my #1 catch"

In the end, I really like how this card came out.

New Release day at Bugaboo Stamp

It's another week and another new release. This week, Jodie is introducing Franny. Isn't she gorgeous?? :) Franny is all dressed and ready for St. Patrick's Day and of course she has her green beer to help celebrate.....with this being a March image does this mean we'll have a whole year just like Ruby??

You can find Franny at Bugaboo Stamps so make sure you grab here and go check out what the other Design Team Members have created for you this week.

Treat Bag

This week, Lindsay wanted us to create something that will hold a treat/candy with Valentine's Day being Saturday. This is definitely not my specialty and I am so not happy with the way it turned out. I wasn't going to post it but figured that as "artists", we are not always satisfied with our projects but there is always someone out there who might love it.

You can't really see it but the flap is punched with a lace heart border).(

Anything but a Card

Today's post for Bugaboo Stamps is to create a project using an image from Bugaboo but it can't be a card. I have been wanting to make one of these for awhile now and thought it would be the perfect project just before Valentine's Day. I put candy inside the pouch but you can put anything in there that you like--a great idea is to make one of these around Christmas and fill it up with some gift tags.

The image used was a little frog from the Valentine's critter collection, which can be found here. I'm also using her to make cards for Abby's teacher's at Day Care so I'll have pics of those soon

Challenge card

I'm not exactly sure what occassion this card could be used for but I really like JJ's attitude and the card came out awesome (if I say so myself LOL)! This image and others of JJ can be found here at Bugaboo Stamps. This card was created using the sketch for this weeks challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Freebie Friday--Finally!

So it's Freebie Friday on Sunday :) This weekend has flown by so fast, I couldn't even begin to figure out where the time has gone. This is Fat Mouse and he/she can be found here. This card was made using the sketch for this week's Mojo Monday challenge.
