Little Miss Muffett - Birthday Challenge

Stamp and Create - Inspiration post

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you all had a very nice weekend.   Since it's Monday, it also means a new inspiration post for Stamp and Create...

I'm not sure if you heard the news or not but Belles n' Whistles is closing.  This is very sad news as I love the store but I'm sure Summer has a reason why so because of this, Lacey has placed all of the BnW images on sale for 25% off!!  check out the clearance section here to find all of the images!

This week has been kind of slow for me as I haven't felt like creating at all :(  I hate when this happens and I really hope I get over it soon!  Anyway last night I sat down cause I wanted to make a quick card and I already had this adorable image from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps colored in so I thought I'd use that.  The name of the image is "Lolli-Hop" and can be found here.

Baby Bud Designs - Friends Challenge & New Release

Think Ink #25

This week your challenge is brought to you by DT Member, Marti Wills, and she wants you to:

I used a couple sets to make my card.   The swirls for my background is from the Sew You set and the ice cream is from the  Spot on Summer.  

I added a little glitter for the cherry and there you have a very cute and quick card.  This set would be perfect to use if you had to  make a quick set of cards.  I really love both of these sets :)

Artful Inkables

This week's challenge over on the Artful Inkables blog is to create something with Pockets.  Kristin now has an awesome pocket themed set that would be perfect for this but if you don't have it there are still plenty of options available.

The set I used for my card is Aquatic Fantasy.  I placed glitter on her tail to give her some sparkle and added a few flowers.  The inside of the card is where I placed the "Pocket" so that you can place a gift card or as seen here some money.

For the man in your life...

I hope everyone has had a nice mother's day!  I actually had a nice lazy day :)  I did manage to get some time at my craft table and make a few cards.

This first post uses Into the Moonlight by Artful INKables.  If you need to make some masculine cards, this set is perfect (even if it is Twilight themed LOL).  I receive a stamp kit in the mail and this is this is one of the cards they give instructions for (I just change the vehicle on it).

From me to you Card

Just a quick post and card as Abby isn't feeling very well today so we got to stay home.  I threw this together last night in between her waking up.  I plan to make another card tonight after she goes to bed (and hopefully stays there).

So until then here is my card for today, it uses Just a Note from Artful INKables

Masculine Card

After Friday's post I knew I wanted to create another card using the Into the Moonlight set because I wasn't "feeling" that one.  So today during nap time I sat down and made this one.  Each month I receive a kit in the month from Annie's Attic and up until today I haven't touched them.  They gave directions to make this card using an car stamp and everything :)

I really liked how this one turned out and I will tell you I'm glad to see my mojo back :)

Note:  The image looks shiny but it really isn't, I think it's just the glare off the ink.

It's your birthday....

Actually it's Artful INKables second birthday and it's all about celebrating.  It's also my very first post as a member of their design team and I can not be any more excited.  If you have never seen AI's stamps, I HIGHLY recommend you buy at least one set (I know there are some Twilight fans out there, well Kristin has two sets based on the Twilight Series) and try them out...you WILL NOT be disappointed!  The stamps come in an awesome slim case for easy store (a huge benefit for me), already mounted on rubber (just cut away) and when you stamp, the images are always clean and clear!!  What more can you ask for??  (If you're thinking, low prices well guess what you can get most, if not all stamps for under $20!!!)

This weeks Think Ink challenge was to make a creation with a birthday theme.  I used one of the cakes from Birthday Best.  I loved the look of this cake and all I can think of while coloring it in was that it looked like something Buddy from Carlo's Bakery would make....so I went elegant (just like Buddy).  What do you think?
