Simply Betty - Birthday Card inspiration

Betty created an image for her mom's birthday in August and then challenged us all to use red, black and white for the card.  This is what I created and will be sending to Betty so that she give it to her mom.

Here is my creation for the Simply Betty Fan Page challenge using one of the new fairys that was released.  I would've had 2 more but my daughter stole the  images before I could get them colored ;)

Right now over at the Simply Betty fan group, there is an anything goes challenge using your favorite image.  For this challenge I used Material Girl Rio as she is just awesome and being a girl of the 80's she holds a place in my heart.

1. create pleats (yuk!)
2. use traditional fall colors

Simply Betty - Good or Bad Facebook challenge

Yesterday Betty from Simply Betty Stamps added a freebie in her group and challenged us to do an evil or good card using the image.  I went with "evil" as I wanted to use blacks & purples, here is what I created with her
