The Digi Garden - Stockings are hung

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I hope you are all spending your day surrounded by family and friends.  Before I get on to today’s post I just would like to say how grateful I am for the people around me. 

My loving family; those who I see all the time and those I don’t.  Each and every one of them holds a huge part of my heart and I’m forever grateful to be surrounded by such great people.  Lastly, my husband daughter; they make me whole and show unconditional love no matter what. 

THANK YOU to all of you.  I started out blogging not feeling very confident in my work and throughout the years, you have all been there supporting me along the way.  Without you all and our shared love of crafting, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

A really huge THANK YOU to the people I have meet and given me the opportunity to be on their teams…..Lacey Stephens (Wags n’ Whiskers & Stamp and Create), Nichole Mokshefsky (Inky Impressions), Jacqui (The Digi Garden), Sammi (Hatter’s Hope), Vicky (Victorine Originals) and everyone I have worked with in the past.  THANK YOU!!!

Now on to my card for today...Here is another fun card I made this week using another adorable image from The Digi Garden.  I am loving these Christmas images and have actually accumulated a nice little stack of cards all ready to be picked out for that special person :)  I haven't had a chance to make Christmas cards for friends and family in a few years so needless to say I'm a little excited :)

This first card is my favorite as I just love Heather's images and they are so much fun to work with 

and here is my second one using an adorable Mermaid scene from another one of the artists (sorry the name escapes me at the moment)

It is that time again! Inky Impressions is having a Design Team call. We are looking for a few enthusiastic, friendly, and talented stampers to help promote our products and to provide inspiration to the stamping community.

This call is open to everyone! If you have applied for any of our previous Design Team calls, please feel free to re-apply! You are not required to use Inky Impressions stamps for your submissions, but it’s a plus if you do.

·         2 samples of your best work (these do not have to be new)

The deadline for entries is December 3, 5 p.m. (Est.)

What we are looking for in our Designers:
~Creative and quality work
~Great Coloring Techniques
~Ability to think outside of the box
~Good color matching skills

DT Details

Requirements:

~Commit to a 4 month term (January 2013-April 2013).

~5 projects per month. This includes participating in our challenges (alternating every other week), posting on the Inky Impressions Inspirational blog, (one time per month) post on your personal blog, and participating in our monthly blog hop.
 

~The ability to take good quality photos of your creations .

 

~Have an active personal blog and promote Inky Impressions Rubber Stamps whenever possible (this can include use of logos/blinkies, linking products to the online store, display a list of Inky DT members on your blog, and posting in online forums and galleries such as Spiltcoast Stampers).

~Although not required, we would love if you could mail in 2 physical card/project samples (during your term) for our Inkyzine and/or trade show booths.

 

~Enter your Inky creations into at least one challenge outside of the Inky Impressions Challenges.

 

~Comment on Inky Impression Challenge entries (on a number system).

The Digi Garden - Lights are strung

Had a chance to color in a few of the new images at The Digi Garden this weekend and then got one of them made into a card.  I just love this adorable little image and I knew I had the perfect paper for her :)

Sassy Studio Design - Guest Designer submission

I really love Sassy Studio Design and was upset when I wasn't able to try out for the team SO when I saw the guest dt call, I knew I had to make something for it.  I used this week's freebie that was on Paper Craft Plant to create my project and of course since Breaking Dawn just came out it's perfect!!
