Tip of the Day

Need to spread liquid adhesive quickly over a large surface area?

Instead of dumping those phony plastic credit cards you receive in the mail, save them! You can simply use the wasted plastic cards as glue-spreaders! Use the plastic card to swipe and spread the liquid glue into a thin, even layer of glue over a big surface area. What's more? You can just wipe the card clean and reuse them again and again.

Awesome blog candy give away!

Elisabeth Bell is giving away some awesome blog candy from three different stamp companies. Want a chance to win them, go to her blog and leave a comment!

Pumpkin Basket

I was on Splitcoaststampers the other day and saw the tutorial for this basket and knew I had to make one. The whole time I was working on it, all I could do is think about all the other possibilities....frankenstein, ghost, mummy, bat, black cat, santa, the list goes on.

Supplies (CTMH unless otherwise noted)
Orange Cardstock
Black Cardstock
White Cardstock
Orange Ink
Orange brads
Black and Orange ribbon (Michaels/Joann's)

Tip of the Day

To minimize ink staining, first ink your stamp with a neutral color such as Bamboo, then ink in your intended color. The pre-stamping in Bamboo helps reduce permanent staining.

Remember that even though they are stained, this will not affect any future stamping, and stained stamps are just a sign of a well loved stamp :)
